Rebeca lives with her family in the city of Morogoro, where the living conditions are very poor. Homes in this community are typically constructed from cinder-block, and do not have electricity. Some homes have access to a public water source, such as a well or pipe borne water. Rebeca lives in an environment where malaria, unemployment and malnutrition are common issues. Her teacher says Rebeca is gaining a better understanding of phonics and is beginning to blend sounds together. Through your sponsorship and prayer, Rebeca is growing to reach her full potential.
