Angiee lives with her family in the impoverished farming community of Santa Ana, on the outskirts of Ayacucho. The most common occupation in the community is farming, and they must travel from one to six hours for work. The typical home is made with clay or mud bricks and stones, and covered with scraps of tin for the roof. In addition to poverty, children must face the common social issues of alcoholism, drugs and domestic violence. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Angiee to attend the Learning Center where she will receive tutoring, food, and basic dental and medical care. They will hear the Gospel and learn of God’s love for them. Please remember Angiee and her family in your prayers. Rios De Agua Viva Learning Center is located in Santa Ana, outside of Ayacucho, Peru. The primary language is Quechua, but public school students can also speak Spanish. Farming is the most common source of income. A farming family typically earns less than $2 a day. When a child in this needy area attends the Learning Center, VisionTrust provides nutritious meals, after-school tutoring, health care interventions, and spiritual development, so that they are transformed to live for God and love others.
