Thomas lives with his family in the area of Katsekera, southeast of Ntcheu. His father abandoned the family, so Thomas helps with many of the household chores. He dreams of one day becoming the president of his country. Thomas lives in an environment where illiteracy, alcoholism and HIV are common issues. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Thomas to attend the Learning Center where he will receive tutoring, a nutritious snack and learn of Jesus’ love for him. Malawi, in southeastern Africa, has been ravaged by HIV/AIDS causing nearly half of the population to be under 15 years old. VisionTrust sustains a program in the remote village of Katsekera to care for and spiritually nurture orphans and vulnerable children. The children gather five days a week at the Learning Center for tutoring, discipleship, nutritious meals and healthcare.
