Liam is a happy child whose favorite activities include playing with cars and running. He lives with his family in the impoverished area of Los Verdes. They must collect their water from a community well. They live in an environment where respiratory problems are a common result of the use of firewood in indoor cooking. Gangs and drug related issues make life more difficult in Los Verdes. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Liam to attend the Learning Center where he will receive tutoring, food and learn of Jesus’ love for him. He attends Bible classes to help with his spiritual growth. Please remember him in your prayers. The Los Verdes Learning Center serves children in Los Verdes and its neighboring community. Many of the families grow coffee as a livelihood, but coffee plants produce beans only 4 months of the year. The rest of the year, the men of the family must find other work. VisionTrust partners with this Learning Center to provide children with tutoring and spiritual discipleship as well as a daily meal so they can become future leaders that live for God and love others.
