Daivis is a calm child who lives with his parents in the impoverished area of Los Verdes. While his father works as a farmer to support the family, it is often difficult to provide for their needs. Daiviss home is constructed from cement block, with a tin roof, and a cement floor. They must collect their water from a community well. Gangs, unemployment and respiratory illness because of indoor cooking, are challenges that Daivis faces in his daily life. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Daivis to attend the Learning Center where he will receive tutoring, food and learn of Jesus love for him. Daivis is learning responsibility by helping with the household chores. He enjoys playing group games with the other children. Please remember him in your prayers. Your love and support will help Daivis receive the assistance he needs to develop to his full potential.

The Los Verdes Learning Center serves children in Los Verdes and its neighboring community. Many of the families grow coffee as a livelihood, but coffee plants produce beans only 4 months of the year. The rest of the year, the men of the family must find other work. VisionTrust partners with this Learning Center to provide children with tutoring and spiritual discipleship as well as a daily meal so they can become future leaders that live for God and love others.
