Keyla lives with her mother in this impoverished area of Cruz Blanca. The living conditions in this community are very poor. Employment is often difficult to find, and many families struggle to provide. As a single parent, it is very challenging for her mom. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Keyla to attend the Learning Center where she will receive tutoring, food and learn of Jesus’ love for her. She is a happy child who likes to play with dolls and sing. She also helps her mother at home. Please remember her in your prayers. Hundreds of Mayan children in the village of Cruz Blanca lack the resources to attend public school. They try to help their families by working at a young age, hindering their chance for a better future. VisionTrust partners with the Cruz Blanca Learning Center to provide these children with tutoring in math, Spanish, reading and vocational skills. The Learning Center serves children five days a week, providing them with a Christian education, nutritious food, and the love of God.
