There are many community challenges, including community unrest, child labor, and illiteracy. They live in an environment where respiratory problems are a common result of the use of firewood in indoor cooking. Antony enjoys playing with cars. He is also excited about having a new sibling. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Antony to attend the Learning Center where he will receive tutoring and food. He will also learn of Jesus’ love for him and be encouraged to reach his God given potential because he is worth more than the poverty into which he was born.

Hundreds of Mayan children in the village of Cruz Blanca lack the resources to attend public school. They try to help their families by working at a young age, hindering their chance for a better future. VisionTrust partners with the Cruz Blanca Learning Center to provide these children with tutoring in math, Spanish, reading and vocational skills. The Learning Center serves children five days a week, providing them with a Christian education, nutritious food, and the love of God.
