Abed lives with family members in this poor neighborhood of Damala in the capital city of Bangui where his family struggles to survive. The typical home is a one room clay brick house with a dirt floor. There is no plumbing, electricity or water. There is little free time in his life as there are many chores to do, but Abed does enjoy playing soccer and other games when time is available. He lives in an environment where malaria, malnutrition and lack of medical care are common issues. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Abed to attend the Learning Center where he receives nutritious food, tutoring, and learns about God and how he cares for him.
