Benias lives with his grandparents in the rural village of Chasiyatende, where the typical home is constructed from mud bricks, with a grass roof and mud floor. Beniass responsibilities include carrying water and gathering firewood. There is no plumbing, electricity or running water and they must collect their water from the river or an unprotected well. In Chasiyatende, Benias will face many environmental and social challenges including malnutrition, AIDS and child abuse. Your sponsorship makes it possible for Benias to attend school where he will receiver nutritious food, basic health care and learn about Gods love for him. In addition, he attends Sunday school. When he has free time, Benias enjoys playing soccer and drawing. Please remember to pray for Benias.
