Kpondeh

Female | Age: 16 | Birthdate: March 20, 2006

Amanda lives with her family in the community of Kpondeh Town. When Amanda is not helping her family by cleaning and washing dishes, she enjoys running and playing baseball. The typical home is made of mud bricks and sticks with a dirt floor and a thatch roof. There is no plumbing, electricity or water. Their water comes from a community source. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Amanda to attend school where she will receive a school uniform, books, nutritious meals, and basic dental and medical care. She will hear the Gospel presented through Christian curriculum and learn of Jesus’ love for her. She participates regularly in church and Sunday school. Please remember to pray for Amanda. Your love and support will help her receive the assistance she needs to develop to her full potential.

More about Kpondeh...

Liberia sits on the west coast of Africa. War and corruption have led to a lack of infrastructure and basic amenities like clean water and electricity. For village children, attending school might mean walking a long distance through hazardous areas. VisionTrust is partnering with local heroes in Kpondeh Town to provide children in this predominantly Muslim community with a quality education, nutritious meal, access to health care, and to learn about God's great love for them.
