Every month

Female | Age: 16 | Birthdate: March 20, 2006

Theresa lives with her family in the impoverished community of Kpondeh Town where her household chores include washing dishes and cleaning. Employment is difficult to find in this community. The typical home is made of mud bricks and sticks with a dirt floor and a thatch roof. There is no plumbing, electricity or water. While this community is still in recovery from the civil war, they also experience the added difficulties of unemployment, illiteracy, and a lack of basic nutrition. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Theresa to attend school where she will receive nutritious meals, a quality education, and care for her health. Even more, she will hear the Gospel and learn of Jesus’ love for her. She participates regularly in church. Please remember to pray for Theresa. Your love and support will help her receive the assistance she needs to develop to her full potential.

More about Kpondeh...

Liberia sits on the west coast of Africa. War and corruption have led to a lack of infrastructure and basic amenities like clean water and electricity. For village children, attending school might mean walking a long distance through hazardous areas. VisionTrust is partnering with local heroes in Kpondeh Town to provide children in this predominantly Muslim community with a quality education, nutritious meal, access to health care, and to learn about God's great love for them.
