Esmeralda is a calm, happy little girl who loves to dance. She especially likes to dance at church and do Bible songs with motions in them. Esmeralda dreams of being a singer. Esmeralda lives with her family in the impoverished area of Los Verdes, where gangs and drug related issues make life more difficult. In this area, educational opportunities are limited. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Esmeralda to attend the Learning Center where she will receive tutoring, food and learn of Jesus’ love for her. Please remember her in your prayers. The Los Verdes Learning Center serves children in Los Verdes and its neighboring community. Many of the families grow coffee as a livelihood, but coffee plants produce beans only 4 months of the year. The rest of the year, the men of the family must find other work. VisionTrust partners with this Learning Center to provide children with tutoring and spiritual discipleship as well as a daily meal so they can become future leaders that live for God and love others.
