La Joie lives with her mother in the poor neighborhood of Issa III, in the capital city of Bangui. She provides for the family by selling items in the local market. The typical home is a clay brick house with a dirt floor. There is no plumbing, electricity or water. They must get water from a community well. La Joie lives in an environment where HIV, malaria and illiteracy are common issues. They also must face the challenges of civil unrest and the continuing threat of war. Your sponsorship will make it possible for La Joie to attend the Learning Center, where she will receive food and basic health care. She attends church with her family. La Joie is a happy and energetic little girl, who is busy learning about her world. She loves to play with dolls. Please remember to pray for La Joie. This Learning Center is in the capital city of Bangui, in the Central African Republic. The children in this neighborhood meet at the Learning Center at their church 3 times per week after school. Here they keep up their studies, spend time in prayer, experience discipleship & receive some food in an encouraging Christian environment. This Précaires group also has a nice garden that helps to provide nutritional food for the orphans.
